Governance & Oversight

  • Development and/or enhancement of governing Policies, Procedures, and Internal Controls (PPIC)
  • Establishment of BOD appointed Audit Committee; Role & responsibilities; Audit Committee quarterly reporting to the Board of Directors

OUR PLAYBOOK

Capstone Lawrence’s Family Office Group employs a disciplined, four-phase process designed to strengthen financial & investment reporting, streamline accounting & business operations, and embed sustainable corporate governance within the Family Office infrastructure.

1. Roundtable

Define objectives, accounting priorities, and reporting requirements; define & align stakeholders on key outcomes and operating cadence.

2. Discovery

Conduct assessments of accounting practices, ERP systems, and reporting structures; identify performance gaps, weaknesses in internal controls and compliance and operational risks.

3. Alignment & Design

Translate findings into a comprehensive Family Office engagement plan addressing accounting, reporting, systems and governance needs. Creation of the Family Office Monthly Reporting Package covering FO financial performance as well as FO Investment Performance.

4. Execution & Enablement

Implement Capstone’s Family Office engagement plan; collaborate with FO personnel to align implementation with day to day routines; conduct follow-up meetings with stakeholders to review, assess and create improvement actions.
