CEO | SENIOR MANAGING DIRECTOR | HEAD OF TURNAROUND & RESTRUCTURING PRACTICE
Len “Leonard Lawrence” Sinisgalli
Len is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Capstone Lawrence, overseeing the firm’s U.S. and international engagements. His 30+ year career spans Big Four/Public Accounting, Wall Street operations, and senior executive leadership across global enterprises. Prior to founding Capstone Lawrence, Len served as President of Resilien, after successful roles as CFO and COO, where he helped scale the company from a $20M regional technology distributor to a $500M global leader. This operator-first, execution-driven experience – shaped by leading teams, transforming operations, and driving rapid commercial growth – forms the foundation of Capstone Lawrence’s philosophy and approach to client engagements.
Len began his career in Big Four public accounting with Arthur Andersen, where he earned his CPA and developed technical expertise in audit, financial controls, and corporate governance. He then joined Bear Stearns in the Treasury and Operations groups, gaining deep exposure to derivatives, emerging markets, fixed income, foreign exchange, and global equities. This combination of institutional financial training and operational discipline provided the foundation for his transition into senior operating leadership roles at Resilien.
Len’s early foundation of accounting, finance and operations provided him a unique advantage in migrating to roles more heavily centered on business development, commercial strategy, and revenue expansion – this journey ultimately shaped the creation of Capstone Lawrence and its initial practice, Turnaround & Restructuring. Len founded the firm to integrate his institutional financial background, hands-on operational leadership, and proven track record in driving revenue growth into a single, cohesive platform designed to “turnaround & restructure” the struggling portfolio companies of PE and Family Offices. As Capstone Lawrence grew in scope and market leadership, the company was called on to support its clients’ opportunistic engagements, leading to the formation of the Capital Solutions and Family Office practices at Capstone Lawrence.
A former NCAA football player and, later in life, as an NCAA DII football coach, Len brings the “team first” philosophy to the Capstone led engagements. A graduate of Hofstra University’s Frank Zarb School of Business, he also maintains his New York State Certified Public Accountant license. Len lives in Charleston SC, but can be found frequently at one of the company’s three offices in New York, Los Angeles, or London.
